NuvÓ choose FSC certified paper
Coherently to the ecological approach that characterizes NuvO', the pages of the notebooks used from NuvO' consultants have been realized using FSC-certified paper.
The paper normally known as “ecological” is often the result of chemical pollutant treatments; on the contrary, the pages of this notebook are produced by a process that certifies the environmental impact of products made under the aegis of the FSC.
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a non-governmental and non –profit organization created in 1993 which includes among its members (over 600) environmental and social groups, indigenous communities, forest owners, factories that work and trade wood, scientists and engineers. They work together to promote a way of managing forests and plantations that protects the environment, which is useful for people needs (workers and local populations) and valid from an economic point of view, according to the principles of sustainable development. Forests are monitored and autonomously evaluated by FSC-accredited agencies which check and certify the work to ensure their competence and credibility. At the same time, these agencies monitor and evaluate the stages of processing and trading forest products to ensure their traceability from the forest to the point of sale. These checks, together with the special labeling system, allow companies and consumers to identify wood and wooden products coming from those forests managed in a correct responsible way, according to FSC standards.
