Web 3.0: what is next

Few weeks ago our client asked our opinion on the issue “What internet will be in 5 years from now” …this challenge immediately interested us. As a response we enquired our network with a number of discussions on this topic.
This occasion was particularly interesting because the audience consisted not only of our client’s first line of ICT managers but also of 50 high potential young men (some of the kind I rarely met, especially in this period), who are participating in a training project. After some discussions, we involved Marco Formento, Chairman of YooPlus (a leading Italian company specialized in the field of products and consulting on Social Collaboration projects), because we believe he is one of the people who has the broadest vision on this topic in Italy. So, just to repeat our claim, a typical “dwarf on the shoulders of a giant” …with the respected cautions and proportions ;)
The event was very interesting  for us also for the feedback we received from the audience. Here is a summary of the discussed topics: Digital identity, Social reputation,  Crowdsourcing,  OS Hardware,  Distributed network, Mobile Applications …  what do you think about it?
